Interdisciplinary Training Program in Biobehavioral Pain Research

To apply for a Johns Hopkins University fellowship in Interdisciplinary Biobehavioral Pain Research, send the following application materials to Dr. Gayle Page at the School of Nursing.

  1. Official transcripts from all academic training
  2. A minimum of two letters of reference submitted separately and confidentially. One letter should be from your clinical director, department director, or dissertation advisor.
  3. A personal statement addressing:
    1. Background information relevant to the prospective fellow's interest in the interdisciplinary and integrative study of pain
    2. Past research experiences
    3. Long-term career goals
    4. How the program is viewed as advancing these goals
  4. A curriculum vitae and list of any publications
  5. A statement identifying a primary and a secondary mentor, including how their programs of research will enable you to meet your goals in the Program.
    It is highly recommended that you contact both potential mentors before submitting your application.
